CHEQUE PRESENTATION
Tonight it was lovely to welcome Lynsey from CHAS and Tracey, Denise and Amanda from Paige’s Musical Butterflies to present them with a cheque for £596.29 each. This was the amazing total of £1192.58 raised from our sponsored obstacle course at the end of November.
It was lovely to hear from the charities how the money will go to good use to help children with cancer and other life limiting conditions.
Huge thank you to all our members and families for their support with our fundraising efforts.

CLUB FIFE ACCREDITED
Tonight we welcomed along Jamie Moffatt from Active Fife / Sports Development to present the club with our Club Fife Accreditation Certificate.
This recognises the hard work the coaches and committee do behind the scenes as we had to provide evidence of everyone’s coaching qualifications, Safeguarding, first aid, club / charity constitution, insurance documents etc etc.
All of this was checked and verified, and we were successful in gaining the Award. Well done to everyone involved and we look forward to working with sports development to gain our Gold Star status next
CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
We are delighted to announce after a 2 year break we will be holding our annual Club Championship. This will take place on Saturday 25th June 2022.
More details will be announce in due course.

DOD RETIREMENT
Happy Retirement Dod.
Dod has been working with community use for 30 Years helping the club with setting up / clearing away equipment.
Over the years he has been a massive help and support to the club especially when we were running our competitions!
We will miss you but now is the time to enjoy a long and happy retirement.
The club presented Dod with a wee gift to show our appreciation which of course had to include his very own gold medal
CHARITY STATUS UPDATE
Exciting News
Today we heard back from OSCR that our charity status application has been approved!
So I am very pleased to announce we are now a charity!! Our charity number is SC051453 and KGC should appear on the charity register from tomorrow!
A huge thank you to everyone at the club who put in a huge amount of time and effort to make this happen!!
The committee will meet in the new year and map out the next steps for the club.
Don't worry though it won't mean any immediate changes to anything we do but longer term will allow us to access more funding etc and hopefully make progress towards gaining our own premises!
